Who we are?

Education is an essential aspect of life, and students are the future of the world. As such, ensuring that they have access to adequate accommodation that provides safety, comfort, and convenience is essential. S’ Residences is a student housing facility that is located in Harohalli, Bengaluru, providing comfortable and secure accommodation for Dayananda Sagar University students.

The residences have been designed to provide students with a home-away-from-home experience, where they can focus on their studies without the distractions of the outside world. The facility has been designed with the latest technology to ensure that students have access to high-speed internet, which is essential for online learning, and to keep in touch with their families and friends.

S’ Residences is set to open in 2023, with the first phase consisting of two buildings, housing 2100 male students. The following academic year, girls residences will open, with a capacity of 550 students. At its peak, S’ Residences will accommodate 8000 resident students.

The buildings have been designed to provide a conducive environment for learning, with modern amenities and recreational spaces. The residences have been built with the latest technology and modern architecture, ensuring that students have access to comfortable living spaces

The residences have been designed to provide a safe environment for students. The facility has 24/7 security, CCTV cameras, monitored entry and exit with face recognition technology  and biometrics, and a dedicated security team to ensure that the students are safe at all times. The security team is trained to handle any emergency, and there is a well-monitored visitor policy, which ensures that only registered, next-to-kin or guardians are allowed inside the premises.

S’ Residences is not just a place to sleep; it is a place where students can live and grow. The facility has been designed to provide a holistic living experience, where students can develop their skills and talents. The residences have a dedicated 40000 sqft of recreational space in the building, providing students with access to indoor games, like table tennis and snooker, and a gym for fitness enthusiasts. Outdoor sports facilities are also available, with a basketball court, football ground, and a cricket pitch.

The residences are designed to provide convenience to students. The buildings are located within walking distance of Dayananda Sagar University, making it easy for students to attend classes. The facility has an in-house laundry service, providing students with the convenience of not having to worry about washing their clothes.

The management at S’ Residences understands that students have varying dietary requirements. As such, the facility has a dedicated mess, providing students with a variety of food options to choose from. The mess is equipped with the latest technology to ensure that the food is hygienic and prepared to the highest standards.

S’ Residences

Eligibility

  • Students who are currently studying with Dayananda Sagar University, Harohalli Campus
  • Students currently enrolled in any Undergraduate Program/ Graduate Program/ Post Graduate Program offered by DSU @Harohalli Campus
  • Student has submitted the housing application and received an approval
  • Student has paid the accommodation fee and mess charges as per the policy

Terms and Conditions:

  • The above room rates are for Indian residents only.
  • The room rates mentioned above are only for the academic year 2024-25. The rates are reviewed, revised and published prior to the start of any given academic year.
    The room rate is exempted from GST. Total caution deposit is Rs. 10,000/- in addition to the room rent. The room fee includes all the amenities and perks available at S' Residences premises, except for Men's salon.
  • Rooms are fully furnished except for the Bedsheets and pillows for hygiene reasons. Students will have to make arrangements to buy the their own bedsets and other necessary soft furnishings by themselves and dispose the same at the time of vacating of the room.
  • Mess fee includes the GST charges @5%
  • Students must complete the S’ Residences accommodation enrollment process and possess the login ID and password to access the student accommodation software, specifically designed for the residents of S’ Residents. Here, you will receive regular updates and notifications pertaining to your stay at S' Residences.
  • All students are required to pay the caution deposit, hostel fee, and mess fee without any exception.
  • Students must make separate payments for accommodation and messing using the provided banking credentials for hostel and mess fee collections to avoid any confusion. Hostel payments must be made only to the designated hostel account, and mess payments must be made only to the designated mess fee collection account. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in the withholding of receipts or NOCs.
  • It is mandatory for students or their parents to include the complete name of the student in the reference/remarks section while making payments via any bank transaction method. This ensures successful tracing of payments by the accounts department.
  • In addition, for all payments done by any approved method like DD/RTGS/NEFT/Wire Transfer/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI, students must also submit a physical copy of proof of payment to the accounts department for processing and to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  • Cash payments are not accepted under any circumstances.
  • Students using debit or credit cards, whether domestic or international, will incur convenience fees charged by the bank. The applicable charges will be as of the transaction date.
  • The mess services operate on a three (3) meal system, and no additional offerings are available.
  • Once fees have been paid, they are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-transferable to other students.
All previous notifications on the same subject are hereby withdrawn and are to be considered null and void.
